HTES Homeroom Parents


As a group, the PTO meets monthly to discuss issues that impact our school, our teachers and our children. As individual parents, we are able to bring to the forum information we have heard through our personal networks. However, by creating a team of parents committed to common goals, it becomes possible to reach all classrooms to understand issues, share accomplishments and give each of our students a consistent and exciting experience at school.

This year, emphasis will be put forth to unite a “Room Parent” in each classroom who will hold the responsibility of communicating and acting upon information to and from the classroom and PTO. This includes things such as aiding in volunteer sign up, ensuring the teacher has all necessary information to send home with students when an activity or fundraiser is approaching, and of course….all the fun classroom level things such as parties and teacher gifts!

In the right column are a partial list of all of our 2008 - 2009 parents. If you have any questions pretaining to classroom activities, parties etc. you can email the room parent by clicking on their name.
